Welcome to Room 1 and your new journey into school life.

Starting school for the first time can be an exciting but also slightly scary experience. I will endeavour to make the transition into school life as easy as possible.
Day One of the new school year will see us begin the day with a whole school assembly, at this assembly children ( already attending Bledisloe School in 2012) will be put into their new classrooms for 2013.
We will then go into the classroom and begin our day with the roll and introducing the children to each other. Parents are more than welcome to stay as long as they wish with their child but children do settle more easily into the school routines once the parents have left.
The school day ends at 3.00pm. Parents/ older brothers or sisters/ caregivers etc pick the children up from the classroom as this ensures that the children get to where they should.
I am always available to answer your queries or concerns, it is usually easier to do this before or straight after school as once the day begins things get very busy.
