Week 2

It is so exciting watching the children grow each day- learning the class routines and the ways that we learn in Room 1.Today some children got to use our class tablet to reinforce their understanding of the sound of the week. The smiles on their faces said it all.

Swimming is going well- having fine weather and getting in the pool each day makes such a difference. Can you please ensure that each day the children have their clothes correctly labelled and a bag to put the wet togs in.

We have a few new children beginning school in the next few weeks, so it is great to have these children settled and ready to help the new children.

Our sound of the week this week is "j" and our word of the week is "can"

Next week we will begin our maths change-overs, most children will stay in Room 1 with me, but a few will move into other rooms. These change overs are not for the whole year and every few weeks the teachers discuss altering the groupings so we are nest meeting the learning needs of all the children.

Remember any questions, queries, I am only to happy to help and answer these for you.
